Arrive in Quebec City and meet your Zoni Tour Manager at the hotel for luggage drop off.

Afternoon:
Begin your journey on a guided tour of the enchanting Old Quebec, led by a local guide.

Savor a delicious lunch on your own at a charming cafe, enjoying a blend of French and Quebecois flavors.

Evening:
Experience a traditional Quebecois cooking class, learning to create classic dishes under the guidance of a skilled chef.

Dine on the fruits of your cooking efforts during a delightful dinner.

Take a leisurely evening stroll through Old Quebec's illuminated streets, appreciating the city's historical charm.

Return to the hotel, excited for the upcoming days of exploration.

Day 2: Cultural and Historical Immersion

Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

Visit Île d'Orléans, a picturesque island known for its charm and artisanal products. Established in 1680, Île d’Orléans is one of the oldest European settlements in the St. Lawrence Valley and it offers visitors a rural escape in the midst of Quebec.

Afternoon:
Return to the city and explore the Fortifications of Quebec National Historic Site where you will learn about the city's military history.

Enjoy lunch on your own near a city park, practicing your French conversational skills.

Delve into the indigenous history and culture of the region with a guided tour of the Huron-Wendat Museum.

Evening:
Indulge in a group dinner at La Traite Restaurant

Overnight stay at the Ekionkiestha’ National Longhouse. This traditional Iroquois house is made of wood and bark and is heated with three fires. Here you will hear myths and legends that have been passed down for thousands of years as you experience what life was like in this indigenous community.

Day 3: Language and Literature Exploration

Morning:
Breakfast at La Traite Restaurant

Depart the Ekionkiestha’ National Longhouse

Visit Maison de la Littérature, a unique cultural center dedicated to literature and arts. You'll be able to wander the library stacks and write a bit of poetry in a cozy nook at this place where the written word comes to life.

Afternoon:
Practice your French language skills while ordering and conversing during a delightful lunch at a local eatery on your own.

Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Quebec at the Musée de la Civilisation, a renowned museum known for its captivating exhibits on history, culture, and society.

Evening:
Final reflections and discussions on the French immersion experience.

Celebrate your time in Quebec with a farewell dinner at a restaurant with a mix of traditional and contemporary French dishes.

  • Quebec experiences four distinct seasons. Winters are cold with snowfall, while summers are pleasant and mild. Keep these distinctions in mind as you select your travel dates and watch the local forecast before departure.
  • The currency used in Quebec is the Canadian Dollar (CAD). It is advisable to carry a small amount of local currency for convenience upon arrival. Check the exchange rate and inform your bank of international travel prior to departure.
  • The standard voltage in Quebec, as in most of Canada, is 120 volts AC. This voltage is supplied at a frequency of 60 Hz and is the same as what is available in the United States, so you won't need an adapter.

Yes. All itineraries are fully customizable based upon your desired destination, curriculum requests, and budget needs.

Because we fully customize every itinerary, we can offer tours to any and every age group.

No, Zoni educational tours are not limited to school students alone. They can be arranged for college students, adult learners, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, language organizations, home-school co-ops, cultural schools/organizations, businesses, or individuals with an interest in acquiring knowledge and exploring new environments.

Absolutely. We cater to various group sizes, including homeschoolers, with fully customizable itineraries.

We require a minimum of ten paying passengers per group. We have no maximum group size.

Planning should begin as soon as possible. International travel is typically planned 12-18 months before departure.

Zoni Educational travel tours have trained Tour Managers and Tour Leaders accompanying the group. For domestic travel there will be one Tour Leader for every 10 students and for international travel, there will be one Tour Leader for every 6 students.

The Tour Leader is a representative from your school. The Tour Manager is affiliated with Zoni Tours and is well versed in the destinations visited.

Yes, for domestic travel we offer one free tour leader per ten paying passengers. For international travel, we offer one free tour leader per six paying passengers.

The itineraries listed on our website include examples of destinations that we travel to, but we are happy to customize a tour of any destination you wish to visit.

While many of our domestic tours are two-night/three-day itineraries, we can customize a tour for any desired length of time.

Your transportation needs will be provided by Zoni Tours, unless otherwise noted in your proposal.

Full names, dates of birth, emergency contacts, dietary restrictions, and any other relevant information needed for your itinerary.

Students and tour leaders will be responsible for securing traveler documents and information. Zoni will keep digital copies of passports and visas for international travel in case of emergency.

All forms are signed at registration along with terms and conditions. Documentation required by your school or organization may vary.

No. Group travel is secured under one booking.

No, seats will be assigned at the time of booking.

While not guaranteed, Zoni Tours will do everything possible to accommodate this request.

Flight changes are available at your own expense, subject to group leaders' approval.

Zoni Tours will accommodate special needs per ADA and section 504. We can secure accommodations in motorcoaches, hotels, and most eateries. However, elements of certain itineraries are not accessible to wheelchairs and other devices. Please make your Educational Group Tour Coordinator aware of any special needs when you begin your travel planning.
