Day 1: Travel to Italy

Depart for Rome, Italy on a night flight.

Day 2: Unveil the Magic of Rome

Morning:
Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel where you will meet your Zoni Tour Manager and store your luggage.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast to give you energy for your Italian adventure.

Afternoon:
Take a guided walking tour through the historic heart of Rome, visiting iconic landmarks such as: Pantheon, Campo de’ Fiore, and Piazza Navona while learning about the city's rich history.

Lunch Near Piazza Navona at your own expense; the Piazza Navona area offers a variety of charming restaurants and trattorias where you can enjoy classic Italian dishes while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic square. Many of these restaurants provide both indoor and outdoor seating, allowing you to enjoy your meal while people-watching and taking in the historic surroundings.

Continue your guided walking tour and immerse yourself in the heart of Rome, visit the Spanish Steps and toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain for good luck.

Evening:
Experience a special welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Check into your Rome hotel, and rest for the exciting days ahead.

Day 3: Rome-Journey through Time and Urban Charms

Morning:
Start your day with a satisfying continental breakfast at the hotel.

Begin your guided adventure with visits to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, where you will step into the world of ancient gladiators and bustling markets.

Afternoon:
Savor the flavors of Rome with a classic Roman-style pizza, at your own expense.

Immerse yourself in history at the Capitoline Museums, uncovering captivating relics and masterpieces.

Continue your guided walking tour with a stroll down the artsy streets of Trastevere, popping in and out of shops, while discovering its youthful and vibrant atmosphere.

Evening:
Indulge in Roman cuisine for dinner at a lively trattoria.

Enjoy a guided evening walk to witness Rome's landmarks illuminated against the night sky.

Return to your hotel for a restful night.

Day 4: Rome - Vatican City 

Morning:
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel.

Explore Vatican City, including the Vatican Museums: Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, with your knowledgeable guide.

Afternoon:
Enjoy a leisurely lunch near Vatican City, at your own expense.

After lunch, venture to Villa Borghese, a sprawling park known for its lush gardens and serene atmosphere. Visit the Galleria Borghese, an art gallery that houses a remarkable collection of sculptures, paintings, and other masterpieces.

Evening:
Experience an authentic Italian dinner at a Roman restaurant.

After dinner, gather for an interactive and educational Roman history game night at the hotel. Engage in trivia, quizzes, and team-based activities centered around Rome's fascinating history, culture, and landmarks.

Day 5: Florence- Artistic Vibes

Morning:
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel.

Check out of your Rome hotel and travel to Florence.

Afternoon:
Arrive at the hotel where you will meet your tour manager and check-in.

Grab a quick bite at a local cafe upon arrival, at your own expense.

Explore the Uffizi Gallery, home to an extensive collection of Renaissance art. Admire works by artists such as Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael.

Evening:
Enjoy Tuscan cuisine at a trattoria in Florence.

Enjoy a guided ghost tour of Florence's eerie and mysterious side. Walk the ancient streets while listening to chilling tales of the city's haunted history. Explore dimly lit corners and learn about the ghosts and legends that have captivated locals for generations.

Return to your hotel.

Day 6: Verona – Shakespearian Adventure and History

Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel.

Travel to Pisa and Verona by Bus----Morning: Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to Pisa by bus ---discover Pisa and its marvellous artistic attractions: visit the Square of Miracles with its Leaning Tower and take a walk along the famous Lungarni, rich in shops and restaurants where you may taste typical local recipes. This visit to the enchanting maritime Republic will take you back in time and make you breathe a timeless atmosphere!

Afternoon: Upon arrival in Verona, kick-start the Afternoon with an engaging scavenger hunt through the city's charming streets. Students will work in teams, following clues and solving riddles to discover Verona's hidden gems and historical sites. Enjoy a traditional Italian lunch at a local trattoria, at your own expense. Delight in regional specialties such as pasta dishes, risottos, and fresh salads. Explore Verona's romantic aura at Juliet's House, complete with the famous balcony. Learn about the legendary Shakespearean tale and its enduring appeal. Venture to the ancient Verona Arena, where gladiators competed and imagine the events that unfolded within its walls.

Evening: Arrive in Venice

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant by one of the canals in a cozy and authentic eatery that serves homemade dishes with a focus on local ingredients. Delight in a variety of dishes that capture the essence of Florence’s gastronomy.

We offer a wide variety of customized educational itineraries based upon your curriculum requests and budget.

Tour inclusions vary depending on your itinerary, but all include transportation, accommodations, venue admissions, and most meals (as outlined in your proposal).

Yes. All itineraries are fully customizable based upon your desired destination, curriculum requests, and budget needs.

Because we fully customize every itinerary, we can offer tours to any and every age group.

No, Zoni educational tours are not limited to school students alone. They can be arranged for college students, adult learners, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, language organizations, home-school co-ops, cultural schools/organizations, businesses, or individuals with an interest in acquiring knowledge and exploring new environments.

Absolutely. We cater to various group sizes, including homeschoolers, with fully customizable itineraries.

We require a minimum of ten paying passengers per group. We have no maximum group size.

Planning should begin as soon as possible. International travel is typically planned 12-18 months before departure.

Zoni Educational travel tours have trained Tour Managers and Tour Leaders accompanying the group. For domestic travel there will be one Tour Leader for every 10 students and for international travel, there will be one Tour Leader for every 6 students.

The Tour Leader is a representative from your school. The Tour Manager is affiliated with Zoni Tours and is well versed in the destinations visited.

Yes, for domestic travel we offer one free tour leader per ten paying passengers. For international travel, we offer one free tour leader per six paying passengers.

The itineraries listed on our website include examples of destinations that we travel to, but we are happy to customize a tour of any destination you wish to visit.

While many of our domestic tours are two-night/three-day itineraries, we can customize a tour for any desired length of time.

Your transportation needs will be provided by Zoni Tours, unless otherwise noted in your proposal.

Full names, dates of birth, emergency contacts, dietary restrictions, and any other relevant information needed for your itinerary.

Students and tour leaders will be responsible for securing traveler documents and information. Zoni will keep digital copies of passports and visas for international travel in case of emergency.

All forms are signed at registration along with terms and conditions. Documentation required by your school or organization may vary.

No. Group travel is secured under one booking.

No, seats will be assigned at the time of booking.

While not guaranteed, Zoni Tours will do everything possible to accommodate this request.

Flight changes are available at your own expense, subject to group leaders' approval.

Zoni Tours will accommodate special needs per ADA and section 504. We can secure accommodations in motorcoaches, hotels, and most eateries. However, elements of certain itineraries are not accessible to wheelchairs and other devices. Please make your Educational Group Tour Coordinator aware of any special needs when you begin your travel planning.
