Day 1: Travel to Iceland

Evening:
Depart for Reykjavík, Iceland on a night flight.

Day 2: Arrival in Reykjavík

Morning:
Arrive at Keflavik International Airport, Iceland transfer to your accommodation in Reykjavík where you will meet your Zoni Tour Manager and store your luggage.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast to give you energy for your Iceland adventure.

Visit Hallgrímskirkja, this iconic church is a marvel of modern architecture and offers a stunning panoramic view of Reykjavík from its tower. It's a great way to enjoy the beautiful summer evening in the city and take in the unique atmosphere.

Afternoon:
Explore the Perlan Museum, which offers interactive exhibits about Iceland's natural wonders, including glaciers and volcanoes. You can also enjoy panoramic views of Reykjavík from the museum's observation deck.

Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant after your swim, at your own expense.

Visit to one of Reykjavík's geothermal swimming pools, such as Laugardalslaug or Sundhöll Reykjavíkur. Here, you can unwind in the hot tubs and enjoy a leisurely swim in the heated pools.

Evening:
Enjoy a group dinner at a local restaurant to taste Icelandic cuisine.

Experience Icelandic culture by attending a traditional folklore performance or a music concert featuring local artists. This will provide students with a unique cultural experience.

Check into your hotel, and rest for the exciting days ahead.

Day 3: Golden Circle Adventure

Morning:
Start your day with a satisfying breakfast at the hotel.

Depart for the guided Golden Circle tour. Visit Þingvellir National Park, where you can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.

Afternoon:
Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant, at your own expense.

Explore Geysir geothermal area and watch the geyser erupt and then visit the “Golden Falls” Gullfoss Waterfall, which is one of the most beautiful and powerful waterfalls in Iceland.

Evening:
Return to Reykjavík and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Return to your hotel for a restful night.

Day 4: South Coast Exploration

Morning:
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel.

Depart for a day trip along the stunning South Coast.

Afternoon:
Enjoy lunch on the South Coast, at your own expense.

After lunch, explore Skogafoss waterfall and the Skogar Folk Museum, where you can learn about Iceland's cultural heritage.

Head to Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach to see the dramatic basalt columns and Reynisdrangar sea stacks.

Enjoy Dinner at a local eatery.

Evening:
Return to your hotel in Reykjavík.

Day 5: Blue Lagoon & Departure

Morning:
Have breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Depart for Blue Lagoon, a unique geothermal spa. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the milky blue waters.

Afternoon:
After the Blue Lagoon visit, transfer to Keflavik International Airport for your departure flight.

Enjoy lunch at the airport at your own expense.

Depart from Iceland and head back home, filled with unforgettable memories.

Yes. All itineraries are fully customizable based upon your desired destination, curriculum requests, and budget needs.

Because we fully customize every itinerary, we can offer tours to any and every age group.

No, Zoni educational tours are not limited to school students alone. They can be arranged for college students, adult learners, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, language organizations, home-school co-ops, cultural schools/organizations, businesses, or individuals with an interest in acquiring knowledge and exploring new environments.

Absolutely. We cater to various group sizes, including homeschoolers, with fully customizable itineraries.

We require a minimum of ten paying passengers per group. We have no maximum group size.

Planning should begin as soon as possible. International travel is typically planned 12-18 months before departure.

Zoni Educational travel tours have trained Tour Managers and Tour Leaders accompanying the group. For domestic travel there will be one Tour Leader for every 10 students and for international travel, there will be one Tour Leader for every 6 students.

The Tour Leader is a representative from your school. The Tour Manager is affiliated with Zoni Tours and is well versed in the destinations visited.

Yes, for domestic travel we offer one free tour leader per ten paying passengers. For international travel, we offer one free tour leader per six paying passengers.

The itineraries listed on our website include examples of destinations that we travel to, but we are happy to customize a tour of any destination you wish to visit.

While many of our domestic tours are two-night/three-day itineraries, we can customize a tour for any desired length of time.

Your transportation needs will be provided by Zoni Tours, unless otherwise noted in your proposal.

Full names, dates of birth, emergency contacts, dietary restrictions, and any other relevant information needed for your itinerary.

Students and tour leaders will be responsible for securing traveler documents and information. Zoni will keep digital copies of passports and visas for international travel in case of emergency.

All forms are signed at registration along with terms and conditions. Documentation required by your school or organization may vary.

No. Group travel is secured under one booking.

No, seats will be assigned at the time of booking.

While not guaranteed, Zoni Tours will do everything possible to accommodate this request.

Flight changes are available at your own expense, subject to group leaders' approval.

Zoni Tours will accommodate special needs per ADA and section 504. We can secure accommodations in motorcoaches, hotels, and most eateries. However, elements of certain itineraries are not accessible to wheelchairs and other devices. Please make your Educational Group Tour Coordinator aware of any special needs when you begin your travel planning.
