Our teachers are carefully selected and must meet stringent criteria such as holding a master's degree in their subject area, having a state teaching certification, or a bachelor's degree coupled with over two years of experience teaching in private schools. Teachers who are teaching career courses have an industry certification and at least 5+ years of experience in the field.

The college prep program is designed for students who wish to attend college after graduation.

Our ESOL High School Diploma Program is designed to teach you English while you earn a high school diploma.

Simply take 6 Zoni American High School courses while completing your own country's high school program to earn a U.S. high school diploma.

No, these courses do not cost more than our traditional courses.

If you are enrolled in the individual course program you can take one course at a time, and have the ability to add another course for an additional $78 per month. If you are in the College Prep, Career & Technical, or ESOL High School Diploma Programs you may take two courses at a time, and have the ability to add another course for $78 additional per month.

In the Zoni Portal.

At Zoni American High School you work at your own pace; there are no specific time constraints outside of completing your course within a 16-week period. If you are enrolled in our ESOL High School Diploma Program, some of the courses are hybrid and have virtual class attendance requirements.

Zoni American High School (ZAHS) is a private online high school and is a branch of Zoni and Affiliates founded in 1991. Zoni American High School was founded in 2023 to provide an opportunity for individuals without a high school diploma to complete high school. We observe a year-round calendar, and students begin and complete coursework and grade levels at nontraditional times. A reasonably motivated student could complete an academic year well ahead of students enrolled in a traditional, group-paced school.

Classes are available year round 24/7/365. Online enrollment is a quick process, taking only a few minutes. Upon successful enrollment, students can commence their studies right away.

Parents and students can reset their password by going to the sign in screen through the Zoni Portal. On the sign in screen, select “Forgot your Password?” to begin this process.

No, we do not have an age limit. Proof of Grade 8 Completion (End of Year Report Card or Transcript of Final Grades) or self attestation of 8th grade followed by an examination are required.

Zoni American High School is a year round school. We do observe holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Although our main office may be closed on these holidays, students retain access to their courses, ensuring continuous learning.

Upon acceptance of your enrollment online students are required to complete the orientation course.

Upon enrolling your student in Zoni American High School, you'll be granted a parent account for managing records, transcripts, payments, and monitoring your student's progress. To access your parent account, start by downloading the Zoni App on each device where you intend to sign in as a parent.

Yes, you can enroll and request accommodations via the Zoni Portal by uploading your IEP or 504.

You can upload your diagnoses letter in the Zoni Portal and will be provided with accommodations deemed necessary by our disability coordinator.

The tuition covers the registration and instructional expenses to enroll a student in Zoni American High School. Please visit the tuition page which can be found here.

Yes, the registration fee of $50 must be included, along with the enrollment agreement, in order for a student's enrollment to be processed.

Students must agree to the auto-pay debit requirement. If payment is not received within 5 days after the due date, access to course work on the Zoni System will be temporarily suspended until payment is made, and a $10 late fee will be applied.

Yes, our payment model is subscription based and all payments are monthly unless you choose to pay for the year in full.

A late fee of $10.00 will be if the monthly payment is late by 5 days or more. Accounts past due for 5+ days will be placed on inactive status. Failure to pay the overdue amount and late fee within 30 days may result in the immediate suspension of enrollment and a requirement to pay the outstanding balance. Additionally, the student will be responsible for any collection costs, including legal fees, incurred by Zoni American High School to collect the amounts owed. If tuition remains unpaid for 60 days, the student will be administratively withdrawn, incurring a $199 administrative withdrawal fee.

You may pause your account for up to 90 days by calling or emailing us. You can cancel your account at any time by writing to us via U.S. Mail or E-mail. Once the student’s account is paused, you will no longer be billed for any payments. All of the student’s coursework will be archived in the Zoni system. Any information will be saved if you decide to re-activate the account.

Zoni American High School will refund 100% of any tuition (excluding registration fee) received for any course not started by student within the first four weeks.
