Since online learning continues this school year, how do you think K-12 education is being affected?

As online learning, or a hybrid online/in-person model, continues, this new normalcy may prove to be better than the previous one. Having rushed to close gaps in virtual teaching and learning in the spring of 2020, K-12 education is likely to seek to continue with expanded technological infrastructure, flexibility, and the benefits of virtual learning to enhance long-term education. For students who cannot attend physical classrooms for various reasons, the shift to virtual learning initiated by the pandemic could be a permanent and welcome improvement. Therefore, some platforms that taught English opened their programs to this type of student, which in the past was understood to only be possible in an in-person mode.
