Programs & Curriculum
Minimum Admissions Requirements for Zoni American High School Diploma Programs: When transferring high school credits to Zoni American High School, official high school transcripts are required; submit official transcripts to Zoni American High School, 8149 S John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32819, or email to zahsadmissions@zoni.edu.
Students who require special needs programs, such as IEP or Special Education (Title I or Title II) Services, should contact the Zoni American High School Admissions Department prior to enrollment. There is room to be successful in this program. As an online school, Zoni American High School is unable to support all IEP/Special Education Services but makes reasonable accommodations for all students with disabilities.
A current Government-issued photo ID is required for final exams and graduation.
8th Grade Certification
Students who are unable to provide an official 8th-grade transcript may satisfy the 8th-grade certification requirement in one of two ways:
- Pass the Zoni American High School Admissions Examination. This exam covers four subject areas-mathematics, science, language arts and reading comprehension-with 15 multiple-choice questions in each. Candidates will have 90 minutes total to complete all sections and must achieve a minimum score of 70 percent in each section. Two attempts are allowed; a passing score on any section taken in a second attempt will also satisfy the requirement. Upon successful completion of the exam, students will be deemed to have met the 8th-grade certification requirement and may proceed with full enrollment.
- Submit alternative documentation demonstrating successful completion of the 8th grade. Acceptable documentation includes an official letter from the previously attended school confirming promotion from 8th grade, or a state-issued certificate of 8th-grade completion. All documents must bear an official signature or seal.
To schedule the Admissions Examination or to submit alternative documentation, please contact the Student Services Representative at zahsadmissions@zoni.edu. Any questions about 8th-grade certification may also be directed to that address prior to the start of classes.
Class Schedule
Courses are delivered online on an asynchronous self-paced basis, accessible 24/7. Optional weekly live sessions with your teacher; see your course for the schedule.
Class Start & Completion Dates

Refund calculation example: A student withdrawing in week 8 of a one credit course would no longer be due a refund and would be charged the full tuition of $198.00. Or if enrolled in a half credit course the student would owe the full tuition in the fourth week. Otherwise, the student would owe the amount based on the tables above for the courses in which the student was enrolled, plus the non-refundable registration fee, which would be subtracted from the payments made, excluding course extension fees.
Grade Transcripts/Diplomas
No fee is charged for the first official grade transcript issued at the time of graduation. A $5.00 fee per transcript will be charged for the second and any subsequent official grade transcript requests.
No fee is charged for the diploma and cover issued to the student at the time of graduation. A $25.00 fee will be charged to replace a diploma previously issued with another signed original.
Course Extension Fees & Requests
Course Extensions: If a student has not completed a course at the end of the 16-week term, the student can apply for a 4-week extension which is subject to a $50 fee in addition to their regular monthly tuition charges. If a student is still not finished with the course after 4 weeks of extension, the student will be put on Student Academic Progress (SAP) hold and must meet with an academic advisor.
If granted by the academic advisor, the student can extend the course for an additional 16-week period and is subject to a $200 fee in addition to their monthly tuition. If enrolled in a high school diploma program, students will still be required to complete two other academic courses during the extension period to keep up with satisfactory academic progress.
