Junior and Summer Camps 2021

We are ready for you!

Students on a Summer camp at Zoni Manhattan

After a long winter, finally there is a lot to feel positive about! Not only has spring begun and the sun is out, life is slowly returning to normal in the United States, and in particular in NewYork!

Springtime also means that it is time to start thinking about our summer and junior programs! Nothing is better than summer in either New York City or Miami Beach and as the pandemic improves, we are very excited to be able to receive students for these programs.

Zoni Junior Camps

For many years, Zoni has welcomed juniors to Miami Beach and Manhattan. Our Summer Junior Camps offer young learners aged between 12 and 18 the chance to improve their English, make new friends, and learn about the world around them. As our Juniors come fromall over the world, they not only learn about American culture but also about the lives of their international classmates.

As well as English classes taught by our experienced TESOL qualified teachers, our Junior camps also include exciting activities such as visiting museums, playing sports and sightseeing. In Miami there is the added benefit of many beautiful beaches nearby andsummer activities such as beach volleyball and swimming.

We understand that some students are not able to travel abroad this year due to pandemic travel restrictions, changes to their parents financial capabilities and other Covid-related circumstances. We do not want children to miss out on this amazing opportunity, therefore Zoni is offering kids and juniors virtual classes at affordable prices. Although it is not quite the same as going on an adventure abroad, Zoni is proud to offer the same quality English tuition to kids and juniors around the world.

Summer Camps

Very similar to our Junior camps in structure, our Summer Camps are designed for adult students. Summer camps also include English lessons and a variety of social, cultural and sporting activities.

Zoni Language Centers has many years of experience working with international educational institutions to organize custom group programs. This means that students are able to take the maximum benefit from their travel abroad experience, not only entertainment, but also via an academic program focusing on their specific goals.

The good news for our Junior and Summer Camps is that both New York and Miami are returning to normal. Zoni reopened for in-person classes last August and has been safely operating with hygiene and social distancing measures in place ever since.

As we mentioned above, activities are an important and exciting part of our camps. As things improve, more and more businesses, including attractions and events, will be allowed to open and return to normal as long as they follow specific safety rules. This means that students attending our 2021 camps can enjoy planned activities during their time with us, as long as the number of infections remain low.

Summer Activities in New York

Even if you are not part of one of our Junior or Summer Camps there are many activities for you to enjoy - even in 2021!

New York Governor Cuomo has said that from early April events and venues will be able to reopen under strict safety measures. This is great news and means that you have the opportunity to attend many exciting attractions, concerts and shows.

Here are a few of the activities you can enjoy in New York this summer:

Empire State Building
Did you know that the Empire State Building is right next to Zoni Manhattan? Make sure you visit this unmissable New York attraction! Tickets must be pre-ordered online.

Times Square
Times Square is open to the public. However, each attraction and/or event will have its own special rules. Make sure you check online for the rules for specific places or events.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met Fifth Avenue)
The MET is open to visitors. However, you must book your ticket in advance. This will give you a specific visiting time that you must adhere to.

High Line Park

Highline Park is open for visitors. If you want to visit on the weekend you must first book a free pass. All free passes are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of day-of walk-up passes are also available at the entrance. Passes are not required on weekdays. You can simply walk up and enter. One of the best parts about Highline Park is the view of NYC including the Statue of Liberty.

Of course, all of these places above have hygiene and safety rules in place. Please make sure you check the exact rules before going. It is extremely important that we follow all regulations and keep the number of Covid infections low.

Also, it is a good idea to double check opening times and capacity limits, just in case something has changed in the time between booking your ticket and the day of your visit.
